Kathryn + Gavin | Coastal Maine Wedding

I think my favorite first look (so far) is Kathryn and Gavin’s! Kathryn asked if it could take place at the Nubble Lighthouse in York, ME and I was thrilled with the suggestion! This beloved landmark holds a special place in their hearts!

On the day of their wedding the clouds were threatening rain, and we weren’t sure how everything was going to go. I was still willing to do the first look outside and Kathryn was open to it too. I am so thankful we stuck to the plan! Call me a hopeless romantic but I think two lovers by the sea in the misting rain is so romantic!

In spite of the wind and rain their first look was perfect! The wind picked up Kathryn’s veil and danced with it while she and Gavin saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. Gavin quickly wrapped her up in his arms and sheltered her from the chilling breeze. I will say it again: HOW ROMANTIC?!
